  1. appeal to novelty is when you believe a new idea or a new thing is true just because it is new. Also when you think new things are better than old things. Example: Writing notes is old fashioned its better if people text each other if they have to say something.

  2. Hasty Generalization is drawing a conclusion about a person or group of people without enough information.
Example: My next door neighbor is an ahiest and is always mad, so therefore all athiest must be mad.

  3. Hasty Generalization is when the evidence is too small to support the conclusion.
Example:I got sick at the movie theatre, therefore the movie theatre must make me sick.

  4. Hasty Generalization is when the evidence is too small to support the conclusion.
Example: I have food poisoning, the last thing i ate was from McDonalds, so it had to be from them.

  5. A straw man argument is one that misrepresents a position in order to make it appear weaker than it actually is, refutes this misrepresentation of the position, and then concludes that the real position has been refuted.

Example:Trinitarianism holds that three equals one. Three does not equal one.
    Therefore, Trinitarianism is false.
